Here is some good news for those planning to purchase an Xbox One console. Recently, Microsoft has announced a special Xbox One deal, called the President's Day sale. The deal offers one additional free game plus a gift card worth $75 on the purchase of every Xbox One unit.

While buyers don't have the option to pick any free game when they purchase a new Xbox unit, the list of games being offered as a part of the Xbox One bundle includes some exciting games, including "Assassin's Creed Unity," "The Crew," and "Watch Dogs." Buyers can avail the Xbox One deal till Feb. 15, GameSpot reported.

The price of the console will vary depending on the variety of Xbox One bundle. In fact, three bundles listed by the Microsoft Store, including Xbox One 1Tb Holiday Bundle, Xbox One with Kinect Bundle, and Xbox One "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" bundle, are available for $399 each.

On the other hand, the Xbox One "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" bundle, Xbox One 500GB Name Your Game bundle, Xbox One + "Halo: The Master Chief" Collection bundle and Xbox One "THE LEGO Movie" videogame bundle will cost somewhat less at $349. It may be noted, that the "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition" comes with beta access.

There is an elite bundle of the Xbox One series too, which has been listed for $499.

In addition to an extra free game, all the above mentioned Xbox One bundles come with a $75 gift card. When a buyer visits Microsoft's website, they will initially not see the extra free game and the gift card. They will only appear when the buyer explores the Redmond tech giant's online store.

Meanwhile, there was an error on Microsoft's Xbox One backward compatibility feature. The company erroneously featured "Red Dead Redemption" on the backward compatibility feature. However, the error was detected soon and Microsoft the game out of the list. However, until then many Xbox One owners had already enjoyed the Xbox 360 game, which most Xbox One players have been requesting Microsoft to include in its backward compatibility list.
