There are rumors that the Sixers will likely make a huge trade using a big piece in the near future. With a list that includes three high profile former lottery pick centers - Joel Embiid, Nerlens Noel, and Jahlil Okafor - trading one or two out for a guard or wing player could help trigger a major shift in Philadelphia.

The Nets are the worst product in pro sports Hopeless currently. Hopeless in future, but at least they are Brooklyn Nets' problem now.

According to Mobile Philly, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers reached out to Hawks concerning Teague and his backup, point guard Dennis Schroder. The source pointed out that the Sixers are yet to make a trade offer for either of the two. Several league sources said they do not expect the Sixers to push for one of the point guards before the trade deadline set for Feb. 18.

Reportedly, centers Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor have the biggest trade value on the team. Therefore, teams have been eyeing the two. However, the Sixers will not let go either of them until they are sure Joel Embiid, a third center, will be in position to play, according to JN.

Although no trade is looming or likely to take place due to the difficulty to evaluate what the Sixers have currently, it is the second time in two weeks that Philadelphia has asked about a major talent. Last week, rumor mills linked them to Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin.

Meanwhile, the Hawks point guard avoided questions about his recent solid play, fearing that it would insinuate it had something to do with trade rumors that he cannot just escape. Teague had just completed with 17 points, five rebounds, eight assists, and three steals in 28 minutes to give his team a win of 113-90 against Bulls on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Teague, a 2015 NBA All-Star choice, is averaging more than 15 points per game for the second season in a row. He will be a free agent after the 2016-17 season.
