"Scorpion" season 2, episode 17 recently saw Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) having negative reactions over Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Happy's (Jadyn Wong) relationship.

In "Adaptation," Walter and Toby went to the shrink together, and while there that latter spontaneously revealed that he is now dating Happy.

Although shocked, Walter didn't say anything regarding Toby's revelation, but the latter knew that Walter's silence means he doesn't approve of the idea.

True enough, when Team Scorpion gathered to talk about the new case they will handle, Walter called Toby and Happy's relationship as unimportant.

This led Toby to feeling a little bit bad because he truly values his feelings and relationship with Happy.

Meanwhile, Toby and Happy also told Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Sylvester (Ari Stidham) that they are now a couple.

At first, Paige and Sylvester didn't exactly understand what the two meant especially when they called themselves Quintis.

Much later on, Paige and Sylvester seemed to have approved the idea, but their only concern was Walter.

In the past, Walter already made it clear to his team members that getting into a relationship with each other is a big no-no.

This is also the very reason why although Walter and Paige obviously have feelings for each other, they decided to set this aside.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Thomas said that Walter's reaction to Toby and Happy's relationship will be more than just disapproval.

At one point, Walter will realize that there's really nothing wrong with getting into a relationship with a teammate.

As such, Walter might consider asking Paige out on a date, and actually pursuing her.

Unfortunately, this bold move might not come easy for Walter.

In the upcoming weeks, a new character named Tim Armstrong (Scott Porter) will be introduced.

According to Spoiler TV, Tim is a good looking guy who will capture the interest of Paige.

Tim will also be working closely with Agent Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick), as well as Team Scorpion so he will spend much time with Paige.

Unfortunately, Walter will not like the idea that a handsome guy is lurking around his girl.

"Scorpion" season 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
