A high-profile 2015-2016 Serie A season match between defending champions Juventus FC (18-4-4, 58 points) and contending team Inter Milan (14-6-6, 48 points) is scheduled to be held at the Juventus Stadium on Feb. 28th, Sunday.

During their most recent Serie A outing, Juventus had their 15-game winning streak snapped by middling squad Bologna FC as the team was held to a goalless draw at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Feb. 19th, as reported by BBC Sport.

French midfielder Paul Pogba missed two great chances on goal in the second half which would have given Massimiliano Allegri's boys their 16th consecutive victory in the Italian domestic league.

La Vecchia Signora controlled the ball 60 percent of the time during the match, which indicates how intense the defense is from the two sides.

With the draw, Juve was still able to add a point in their overall standings total as they kept league leadership by only one point ahead of second-running SSC Napoli.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan trounced lowly squad UC Sampdoria, 3-1, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro last Saturday, as per ESPN.

Inter defender Danilo D'Ambrosio scored the only goal in the first half, at the 23rd minute, to give the hosts a 1-0 lead at the halftime break.

Roberto Mancini's side extended their lead to 3-0 in the second half with one goal each from Brazilian defender Miranda and team captain Mauro Icardi at the 57th and 73rd minutes respectively.

Sampdoria forward Fabio Quagliarella scored a consolation goal in injury time to put his team on the board and avoid a shutout.

The win was only I Nerazzurri's second in their last six matches as they retained the no. 5 spot in the league table, two points behind fourth-placed squad AS Roma and 10 points behind league-leading Juve.

The predicted result is a 3-1 bounce back win for Juventus. Le Zebre gets back into winning form while La Beneamata continued to struggle late in the season.
