Madonna is currently on her world tour titled "Rebel Heart." As part of the 82-dates concert, she visited Manila, Philippines for a 2-night performance. It was a very successful event with over 20,000 attendees even if the tickets were so pricey.
Many said that the thousands of money they spent were all worth it and they went home extremely satisfied and happy with the experience. According to Daily Mail, it was the Queen of the Pop's very first visit in Manila and she definitely made sure to make the show memorable by not only entertaining the audience with live renditions of her hits, but by stirring controversy as well.
She surprised the audience when she suddenly revealed a personal experience. During an intermission, Madonna said, "I wanted to share a little story." It turned out that it was about her past love life and it involved her former personal trainer.
The "Bitch I'm Madonna" singer nonchalantly told the crowd that she axed her trainer after discovering she was having an affair with her then boyfriend. "Once I had a Filipino trainer - this beautiful, beautiful girl. She was gorgeous and very talented as a trainer. But she f***k my boyfriend, so I fired her."
She ended her tale by saying, "I just wanted to share that with you. In this case, that was not a happy ending." Unexpectedly, the audience find the story amusing and they laughed after Madonna finished the narration.
While the superstar singer did not mention any name, various media did their own research and came up with names. Allegedly, the trainer is Nicole Winhoffer according to Page Six.
It was learned that Winhoffer had worked for the singer for five years. The trainer was assigned as creative director of Hard Candy Fitness, a chain of gym facility that Madonna opened in many countries through allowing franchise.
The two traveled a lot together for this business and they eventually became very close. Their friendship came to an end in 2014 after the affair was discovered.
Finally, as for the identity of the boyfriend, reports claimed that it could be either Timor Steffens or Brahim Zaibat, both were former back-up dancers. These names came up because they were Madonna's boyfriends at the time when Winhoffer was still working at Hard Candy.
