Cindra Ladd, the wife of film producer Alan Ladd Jr., is the latest of the long list of accusers who claim they were drugged and raped by the actor-comedian Bill Cosby.

In an article she wrote titled "Cosby: Trust Me" published on Huffington PostLadd recalled Cosby giving her a capsule after her meeting inside her New York apartment in 1969. She said she spent that night in a blur and claimed she remembers Cosby saying "Trust me" when she asked what was in the capsule.

Ladd met Cosby when she was 21 years old and was working with the late film producer Ray Stark. She and Cosby hang out together even though the comedian was already married. One night when she had a headache and was hesitant to bail on the comedian, he gave him the pill.

"He told me he had a miracle cure his doctor had given him that would get rid of the headache. He went into another room and came back with a capsule," Ladd wrote. "I asked a couple of times what it was. Each time he reassured me, asking, 'Don't you trust me?' Of course I did. This was Bill Cosby."

Ladd confessed that she can barely remember what really happened since all she felt that night was as if she was floating while walking on Times Square. She does remember clearly seeing Cosby in a white terry robe as she wakes up in his bed. He looked like nothing happened but Ladd sensed that he did had sex with her.

Moreover, Ladd admitted feeling ashamed and scared at that time especially after seeing mirrors on the ceiling. She hurried back to her apartment crying and talked the incident only with her roommate. She remained silent for 36 years and never told the police or anyone for that matter.

The number of women coming out accusing Cosby of the same case has reached 20, which included Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson, both are supermodels, The Guardian reported.

Ladd came out from all these saying that it is about time and that it is the right thing to do.
