Last season's runners-up VfL Wolfsburg (9-8-7, 34 points) is set to take on contending squad Borussia Monchengladbach (12-9-3, 39 points) in a 2015-2016 Bundesliga match at their home field of Volkswagen Arena this Saturday, March 5th.

The two teams are coming off huge lopsided clean sheet wins over their matchday 24 opponents to add three points to their records in the overall standings.

Wolfsburg trounced cellar-dweller Hannover 96, 4-0, on the road at the HDI-Arena in Lower Saxony, Germany on Tuesday, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

Winger Andre Schurrle pulled off a hat trick, scoring at the 36th, 59th, and 62nd minutes of the match, to lead         Dieter Hecking's boys to the blowout victory. The 25-year-old German has been out of form for most of the season, but he has found his offensive game against Die Roten.

Midfielder Julian Draxler added a goal at the 69th minute to complete the Wolves' four-goal haul in the said contest.

Die Wölfe is currently at the eighth position in the league table, just one point behind seventh-placed Bayer Leverkusen.

Meanwhile, Borussia Monchengladbach also carried out a 4-0 victory against lowly club VfB Stuttgart at the Stadion im Borussia-Park on Wednesday, as per ESPN.

Three different Borussia players, namely Thorgan Hazard, Raffael, and Patrick Herrman, scored a goal each at the 16th, 60th, and 68th minutes respectively while an own goal from Stuttgart midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz completed Die Fohlen's own four-goal haul.

The win was Monchengladbach's third in their last six outings and a crucial one to cement their Champions League qualification dreams for next season.

Die Borussen is currently at the fourth spot in the league table, tied on points with Mainz but ahead in goal differential with 9 points over the latter's 4.

It was the second consecutive loss for Stuttgart and their third straight winless effort which slid them down to the no. 12 spot in the standings, five points away from the relegation zone.

The predicted result is a tough 2-1 win for Borussia Monchengladbach.
