India vs. Pakistan ICC T20 World Cup 2016 Toss

India wins the toss. MS Dhoni opts to bowl first.

Update: Toss at 8:10 p.m. Match is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. with 18 overs per side.

7:55 p.m.: Most of the covers are off the field but no sign of toss happening.

7:25 p.m.: The pitch is being rolled and hopefully we will get the complete game.

7:09 p.m.: Wet outfield has delayed the match.

6:48 p.m.: Huge cheer after the central cover is taken off again and the stands are packed.

It is raining heavily in Kolkata as India and Pakistan get ready for the ultimate clash at Eden Gardens at 7:30 p.m. IST. The complete ground is under covers and the crowd are keeping their fingers crossed for the match to start on time.

A lot is at stake for both the teams, while India will go on the field to win the match after losing their first one to New Zealand, Pakistan would like to continue their winning streak.

A win today against Pakistan is India's only hope to survive in the campaign. After the heavy defeat against New Zealand, the Net Run Rate (NRR) of India is -2.350.

In order to remain in ICC T20 World Cup 2016, India would have to win the upcoming games with a big margin. However, this is because of the poor NRR and if today's match, India vs. Pakistan, is washed out.

Pakistan would like to win this match as they are confident and a win would mean the end of a long misery of losing to India in World Cups.
