"The Voice" Season 10 (2016) wrapped up its Battles round in episode 9 airing on March 22, Tuesday. A set of last six remaining contestants took the stage one after the other to compete against each other in an attempt to advance to Knockout round. Meanwhile, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera continued mentoring and judging the contestants along with individual team advisors Tori Kelly, Gwen Stefani, Diddy and Patti LaBelle. The show kicked off with a preview of Miley Cyrus as the Key Advisor in the next phase of the competition. It was followed by the first battle. Team Adam artists Laith Al-Saadi and Matt Tedder. The pair performed "Honky Tonk Woman" by the Rolling Stones. Laith emerged as the winner in the Battle Round while Matt Tedder was eliminated.

Caity Peters and Joe Vivona from Team Pharrell were performing next. They sang "Honesty" by Billy Joel. Coach Pharrell Williams choose Caity and eliminated Joe.

Next up was a montage of battles. Gina Castanzo and Peyton Parker from Team Black performed "Borderline" by Madonna. Peyton Parker advanced to the Knockouts and Gina Castanzo was sent home.

Ayanna Jahnee and Joe Maye from Team Christina sang "I Knew You were waiting for Me" by Michael and Aretha Franklin. Christina chose to keep Joe and sent Ayanna Jahnee home.

John Gilman and Owen Danoff from Team Adam performed "Runaway" by Del Shannon. Del Shannon was eliminated while Owen Danoff moved on to the next level. There has been no steal so far.

Performing next after the montage performances were Brittany Kennell and Trey O'Dell from Team Blake. They performed "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac. Blake chose to keep Brittany while Christina completed her team by stealing Trey O'Dell.

With this "The Voice" Season 10 (2016) wrapped up its Battle round. The show is now narrowed down to top 32 artists, 8 contestants in each team. Next week, the show will kick off Knockout rounds where Miley Cyrus will act as Key Advisor. So, stay tuned for more spoilers and recap.
