But really the best part about the Surface Books is the Windows 10 operating system that Microsoft has reengineered for optimal personal and business use. The software, reports said, is lined up to get the Redstone 2 upgrade later this 20165 that will only further beef up its capabilities.
And with the next round of Windows update coming plus the latest Surface Book deals from Microsoft, rumors are even more firing up that next batch of Windows 10-powered devices are all geared up to touchdown - an event that could take place anytime from now.
The latest reports indicate that as soon as the Redstone 2 Windows 10 upgrade is finalized, Microsoft will give the greenlight for the full rollout of the next-generation devices that will run on the platform. That should mean release dates for the Surface Pro 5, the Surface Book 2 and even the hotly anticipated Surface Phone have the high chance of happening within this 2016.
