The end of the video teases Negan's introduction and gives a close look at Lucille, Negan's barbed wire baseball bat. It is speculated that Negan's entrance will bring the death of one of the Alexandrians.

In addition, the 90-minute finale is expected to explore the aftermath of Daryl Dixon's encounter with Dwight. The show will reveal Daryl's fate and what's in store for Glenn and Michonne, who were captured by The Saviours.

At the same time, fans can expect to find out about Carol, who remains missing, as well as about Morgan, who is still searching for Carol. A promo video as published on Spoiler TV teases a scene involving Morgan in a field.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "The Walking Dead" (TWD) actor Norman Reedus, who plays the role of Daryl Dixon, described it as "most hardcore episode" they've ever shot.

"I couldn't speak after I watched it. And, of course, I knew what was happening, and what was going to happen, and who was involved, but I got to tell you, I couldn't speak for like an hour. And then I just was bombarded with phone calls on my drive home. But that was a rough, rough, rough cut. I will say that it might be the best episode we've ever shot of the show," Reedus said about episode 16 and Negan's introduction.
