"Empire" season 2, episode 12 will see Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) trying to take down his own family.
In "A Rose by Any Other Name," Camilla (Naomi Campbell) and Hakeem will work together in running Empire Entertainment.
However, it seems that Hakeem would also want to take advantage of Camilla so he could run his dad's former company all on his own.
According to the official synopsis for episode 12, Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) will also come up with their own plan on how to take down Camilla first before ultimately straightening out their son's act.
However, it seems that the Lyon matriarch and patriarch will not have an easy time because Camilla also has some plans up her sleeve.
Here's a look at the episode's official synopsis:
"Camilla digs her claws deeper into Hakeem, while the rest of the Lyon family work to get him back on their side, but without realizing Empire's acting CEO has his own plan."
Meanwhile, the episode will also see Jamal (Jussie Smollett) receiving a backlash from his fans due to a huge mistake that he committed.
Andre (Trai Byers) and Rhonda's (Kaitlin Doubleday) marriage will also be put to the test after the baby in the latter's womb died due to a terrible accident.
In other news, the teaser released by FOX for "A Rose by No Other Name," Cookie could be heard saying, "Empire was built on family..."
"We're not perfect, but we're all we've got," Andre said.
The next scene showed Camilla giving Hakeem a pep talk as to what she could do to help boost his career.
"Did I tell you you could be king one day?" she asked him.
Another scene showed Cookie telling Lucious that Camilla has to go.
The next scene showed Hakeem telling his family members about the sex tape he recorded of him and Camilla.
"I made a tape and sent it to Mimi's hotel," Hakeem said.
"You made a sex tape?" Cookie asked him.
Also in the episode, Rhonda and Andre will find out that Anika (Grace Gealey) is pregnant with Hakeem's child.
By the looks of it, the couple may be interested in adopting their baby.
"Empire" season 2, episode 12 will air on FOX on Apr. 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
