A sneak peek for "The Family" episode 7 below revealed the pair met while Willa was out on a run. Ben, who managed to escape his captor, was waiting for Willa (Alison Pill) outside their home. He immediately told her that he knows Adam.

Their encounter motivated Willa to deceive her family. In a desperate attempt to fix her family, Willa struck a deal with Ben. The video below revealed Willa had asked him to pretend as Adam.

At first he hesitated and thought that the plan would not work. But Willa seemed confident that he can pull off the masquerade. After all, Ben assured her that he knows everything about her brother. Perhaps Adam had talked about his family to Ben during those years they lived together inside the bunker.

However, certain circumstances ruined Willa's plan when Claire, Danny (Zach Gilford) and John (Rupert Graves) later learned about Ben. Acording to TV Line, "All the Livelong Day" will be one emotional episode.Series creator Jenna Bans told  the publication that "The Family" episode 7 will show the family struggling to cope with the fact that they are living with a stranger.

"We'll see in Episode 7, which is one of my favorite episodes, that you almost see the pilot backwards. You see the pilot again, now knowing it's not [Adam], and how it all happened, which is really cool. It makes the Warren family very, very invested in knowing the truth about him, and that's the story engine in the back half of the season," Bans said.
