"Game  of Thrones" star Liam Cunnigham aka Ser Davos Seaworth stopped by Conan O'Brien's "Conan" on April 7, Thursday, with a first look clip from the Season 6 premiere. The show is set to begin its sixth season on April 24.

In the preview video, Ser Davos is seen along with Jon Snow's corpse being protected by Ghost, the dire wolf who was Snow's sidekick and best friend. It appears that Ser Davos and the few remaining Night's Watch loyalists are preparing to fight Ser Alliser Thorne, Olly and the other traitors who killed the Lord Commander at the end of last season.

The glimpse of Snow's seemingly lifeless body comes as a shock to the show's fans who somehow still nurtures the hope that the beloved warrior will be brought back to life. The fan theory was further fuelled by "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 1's title "The Red Woman."

"The Red Woman" is the direct reference to Melisandre who is known for her supernatural powers of reincarnation and is expected to bring back Snow to life. The premiere episode is written by showrunners David Benioff & D. B. Weiss and is directed by Jeremy Podeswa.

Snow was shown being stabbed multiple times by his brothers of the Night's Watch in season 5 finale episode. However, his fate remains the source of much speculation among fans of the series based on the novels by George R.R. Martin.

While Kit Harrington, who plays Snow, did not appear on a cast list released by HBO, a sea of new actors will be joining the Emmy-winning show.  New cast members for the upcoming season include Pilou Asbaek, James Faulkner, Richard E. Grant, Ian McShane, Essie Davis, Souad Faress,  Joe Naufau, Freddie Stroma and Max von Sydow, E! News reported.

McShane had confirmed his appearance in the upcoming season back in November when he teased that his character will be responsible for bringing somebody back whom everybody think is dead. The actor's declaration to Vulture was cheered among the show's fans who believe that the dead character in question here is undoubtedly Snow.
