Former "Power Rangers Wild Force" actor Ricardo Medina Jr., 37, was arrested in the afternoon of Feb. 1, Saturday, in Los Angeles, Calif. after stabbing a friend to death with a sharp weapon.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. when Medina had a heated argument with his roommate Joshua Sutter, 36. Sutter followed Medina inside his room while the dispute continues. The former actor grabbed the sword from his door and stabbed Sutter in one fatal swing. Sutter took a deep serious wound in his abdomen, according to Time.
Right after the scene, Medina called 911 and Sutter was rushed to the emergency by the responding paramedics but was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. Medina was arrested right after the incident, the Red Ranger actor was taken to custody by the law enforcement at the sheriff's station at Palmdale, Calif. He was then detained and is currently facing murder charges and a $1 million bail, Mail Online reported.
Gar Lester, Medina's agent, explained that his client is a very peaceful guy who loves and very nice to his dog and very nice to people.
"He's been my friend and client for 12 years and he's a great guy. He's great to his dog, he's great to his people. He's really a super person," said Lester of Medina, who was known for playing the role of the Red Wild Force Ranger Cole Evans in the hit TV action series "Power Rangers Wild Force" in 2002.
The Red Ranger's weapon of defense is a sharp samurai.
