Crashing the fans' hope that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will reunite soon following the latter's near-fatal overdose, it is confirmed that the reality TV star is now "ready to move on" and plans to pick up their divorce proceedings.
"She plans on refilling for divorce soon. She and Lamar are just figuring out the finances first," a source told People.
Kardashian was constantly on Odom's side after he was found unresponsive in a Las Vegas brothel after a suspected overdose. She reportedly even took several critical medical decisions on his behalf and made sure that he received the best treatment.
The reality TV star also helped the former NBA player to move into a leased home in the same gated community as her to maintain his steady recovery. Since the couple reportedly called off the divorce, it was speculated that the two will reunite soon and might even remarry with the wedding being covered exclusively on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
However, it now seems that Kardashian has made up her mind to cut all ties with her estranged husband, especially after the news surfaced that the former NBA star went on a drinking spree in a bar last month. She recently took to Instagram as well to vent out her feelings about "letting go" someone for whom one really cares.
"It doesn't matter how loyal you are to someone," wrote the reality TV star. "You can't change someone's heart and bad habits unless they want to themselves.
Meanwhile, a source has claimed to Us Weekly that Odom is sober and has not been drinking. In fact, the basketball player reportedly loves Kardashian and wants to be with her.
Kardashian and Odom got married in 2009 after just a month of dating. The couple filed for divorce in 2013. During a recent interview, she revealed that the former Lakers player was unfaithful to her throughout the marriage, which ultimately led to their split.
