"Street Fighter 5" will get another patch anytime this month. The said update will reportedly address the issues on rage quitters.

There is no definite release date for the patch yet. However, there is a possibility that patch 1.03 will be sent out by the end of April considering the game issued its update patch 1.02 at the end of last month, according to Attack of the Fan Boy.

The prevalence of rage quitting has been an issue since Capcom launched the game in February. Several gamers have come across people who disconnect on purpose so as not to taint their records with a loss.

"We're planning to roll out a system this month that will address the rage quitting issue in #SFV. More details coming soon!" said the announcement posted on the official "Street Fighter" Twitter account.

The news site reported that prior to the upcoming patch, Capcom previously said that "Street Fighter 5"rage quitters will "lose their money fight." It further shared that gamers record the evidence by clicking the "Share Button" on the PS4. Nonetheless, players with valid reasons for disconnecting such as network problems need not worry as only heavy offenders will be penalized.

Capcom even qualified who the rage quitters are in a statement published on their website. These are gamers who have an average of 80 to 90 percent disconnection rate. Their accounts are also regarded to "sit far outside of the norm" compared with most of the other gamers. It said that they will be handing out penalties on a weekly basis to those whose disconnection rates are high coupled with "unrealistic win rates."

Last month, the "Street Fighter 5" patch 1.02 contained updates on challenge mode where demonstration and tutorial were given regarding the ins and outs of the games. It had content for the 16 characters available.

There was also an online rematch option where gamers can play 2/3 set in Casual and Ranked Matches. However, both players must allow the rematch. Additionally, battle lounge improvements, bugs fixes and gameplay balancing were also made available.
