West Ham had settled for four straight drawn matches as they are now drifting at the sixth spot of the current league table, three points behind fifth-placed squad Manchester United. They are also seven points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, who currently holds the fourth and final Champions League qualification berth.

With only five fixtures left in their 2015-2016 campaign, the needs to win as many games as possible if they want to qualify in Europe's premier club continental competitions next season.

In their most recent match, the Hammers ended up in a 2-2 tie with this season's potential champions Leicester City FC at the King Power Stadium last Sunday, as reported by ESPN.

Striker Jamie Vardy, one of the top two goalscorers in the Premier League this year, netted the opening goal of the contest at the 18th minute before he was sent off at the 56th after getting booked with a second yellow card.

A 10-man Leicester City team fought on, but the Irons scored two late goals to snatch the lead, courtesy of striker Andy Carroll and left back Aaron Cresswell at the 84th and 86th minutes.

However, the Foxes found an equalizer in injury time with a 90th+5 stunner from Argentine forward Leonardo Ulloa to help Leicester salvage the draw.

Meanwhile, newly-promoted side Watford nipped West Brom at the Hawthorns last Saturday, as per SkySports.

Midfielder Ben Watson provided the lone goal for head coach Quique Sánchez Flores's team at the 27th minute as both teams held each other scoreless for the rest of the match.

The win snapped the Hornets' five straight winless performance in their last six outings as they are now settled at the 12th spot of the current league table, 11 points safe off the bottom three relegation area.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win for West Ham United.
