As the first season of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" nears its end, fans are anticipating the appearance of an iconic hero to join the team in their battle against Vandal Savage. The favorite to make an appearance is Booster Gold, a time-travelling hero.

As of this writing, the show is five episodes away from its finale, which means the struggle against Savage will be decided soon. With the way things are going, the team formed by former Time Master, Rip Hunter, is having a hard time putting an end to the immortal tyrant.

Apparently, only Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl has the capability to kill him by using an object that was present during the first time Savage killed her and her lover, Carter Hall/Hawkman. Fortunately, Saunders was able to retrieve an artifact from a previous reiteration of herself in episode 11.

In the next episode, they will be hunted down by The Pilgrim, an elite assassin sent by the time masters. However, she is not going after Hunter's crew, but their younger selves until they are completely erased from the timeline.

With the Time Masters and Savage on their trail, it might be time for the team to add reinforcement. With "Legends of Tomorrow" confirmed to have a second season, it is likely that more heroes will be added to the roster and one of them could be Booster Gold, Inverse reported. DC writer Geoff Johns is said to be planning something huge for the character, although it is not confirmed if he will be part of the DC TV or Movie Universe.

What makes it more plausible for the futuristic hero to appear in the season finale is that "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams is set to appear in the finale. It can be assumed that he will take on the hero mantle although nothing is confirmed as of the moment.

However, Adams is "Suits'" main star and making him commit to Legends is a bit far-fetched, Carter Matt rejecting the idea. Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see if Adams will be a key player that will help the team to defeat Savage. Here is a preview of the next episode.
