Struggling contenders AC Milan (14-9-10, 52 points) will try to build a winning run out of their success in the previous matchday as they meet lowly team Carpi FC (7-16-10, 31 points) at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro on Thursday, April 21st in a 2015-2016 Serie A season match.

Milan is sporting a new head coach at the moment in the person of former Lazio defensive midfielder Cristian Brocchi after Sinisa Mihajlovic was recently sacked. Mihajlovic was released in the wake of the team's five-game winless skid that caused them to fall down to sixth place in the overall standings.

Brocchi won its first game with I Rossoneri, a 1-0 nipping of lowly team UC Sampdoria on the road at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris last Sunday to finally snap the team's winless slide, as reported by ESPN.

I Biancorossi snapped a two-game losing skid with an impressive 4-1 victory over 10-man Genoa CFC at their home field of Stadio Alberto Braglia last Saturday, as per Football Italia.

Midfielders Antonio Di Gaudio and Lorenzo Lollo scored a goal each during the first half stoppage time to give the hosts a 2-1 advantage heading into the break after Genoa forward Leonardo Pavoletti netted the opening goal at the 34th and his teammate Armando Izzo was sent off at the stroke of halftime for a second yellow booking.

Carpi continued to take advantage of the situation in the second half as they two more goals, one from midfielder Lorenzo Pasciuti four minutes into the second period and one from defender Stefano Sabelli with four minutes left in the contest.

The predicted result is another tough 1-0 win for AC Milan.
