A recent video of Charlotte Hornets' Jeremy Lin surfaced online which shows the hard fouls committed against the point guard and yet, referees failed to call at least a foul or a flagrant one. Upon hearing the news, Lin could not be happier to see the amount of support from fans.

The video entitled, "Jeremy Lin: Too Flagrant Not to Call" was made by Hsiu-Chen Kuei, a housewife from San Jose, California. To her surprise, it went viral and even caught the attention of the NBA. The league officials felt it was an obligation to address the video as not only does it raises the question on league officiating, but some may see it as racial discrimination as well, New York Times reported.

"I am just happy that people are noticing this," Kuei said in a phone interview on Tuesday. "It is not about views. I did not get money or anything. I did not want attention. I just want Lin to get fair calls."

The NBA responded with statistical proof that Lin remains as one of the often-fouled players and fans should take a look at the rules as the fouls committed against the point guard are in accordance to it.

When the video reached Lin, he was touched and happy that fans are looking after his well-being as a player and he hopes that the referees will be more cautious on calling fouls committed against him.

"I am just psyched that the fans are trying to do something about it and trying to push the league to at least review some of the stuff," Lin said in an interview.

Lin has been one of the most talked about stars in the league since his magical run with the New York Knicks. The 27 year-old became an overnight star and his string of phenomenal performances in 2012 was labeled "Linsanity." However, a season-ending injury also put an end to "Linsanity."

Meanwhile, Lin and his team are looking to bounce back from their game one defeat against the Miami Heat. They lost by a huge margin but for Hornets coach Steve Clifford, it is now water under the bridge.

''Whether you lose by 30 or one, it is 1-0,'' Clifford told Yahoo Sports in an interview. ''So we lost one game. But obviously, particularly up front, we just got manhandled. And if Deng and Whiteside are going to combine for that kind of numbers, it's going to be hard for us to win.''
