It looks like the long wait is over as fans of Randy Orton will soon get to see "The Viper" back in action. It would be interesting to see if Orton will insert himself in the world title conversation by way of his trademark RKO.

The WWE Superstar was last seen September of 2015 when he sustained a legitimate shoulder injury and he was rendered unable to compete for "Hell in a Cell." Now, Orton reportedly said during the Middle East Film and Comic Con that he will be returning very soon, Forbes reported.

Also, it looks like Orton will be returning as a heel as he said in a recent interview that he would like to face Sami Zayn and Finn Baylor in a match soon. Bray Wyatt's name was also thrown into the mix but the "Eater of Worlds" will be out of action for at least six weeks due to a calf injury he sustained during an inhouse event.

Other big names returning to the roster are Cesaro and "Cenation" leader, John Cena. The latter made an appearance on "Wrestlemania 32" as he helped Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson get rid of the Wyatt Family.

However, other reports suggest that Orton is months away from returning. Dave Meltzer said in an interview with Cageside Seats that Orton may be 2-3 months away from returning as he has yet to recover fully from the injury he sustained in 2015.

Heading into May's main event, Roman Reigns will defend his title against the crowd favorite, AJ Styles. It is a possibility that Orton be linked to either Reigns or Styles and start a feud of his own should rumors of his return actually come to fruition.

In tonight's Monday Night RAW, the show will serve as a tribute to the late Chyna, who died on April 20. Her death was reportedly caused by drug and alcohol overdose. Also, it was reported that the WWE made an offer to Lucha Underground's Ricochet/Prince Puma. However, the promotion made a counter-offer, which is reportedly better than WWE's.

"The Viper" hinted in his official Facebook page that others should be on the look out especially when it is "Payback." Here are some highlights of Orton in last year's PPV.
