Meanwhile, Lesley-Ann Brandt, who portrays Maze, talked to Zap2it about the "Lucifer" Season 1 finale and her relationship with Amenadiel and Lucifer.
When asked if Maze has real feelings for Amenadiel, the actress stated that Maze has always been by Lucifer's side no matter what he did. However, Brandt mentioned that they did not want the audience to feel that she is in love Amenadiel.
"She doesn't know what love is. There is lust, there is loyalty, and she for sure loves Lucifer, but being in love and all the feelings that go along with that is not something that's familiar to her. When she hesitates, there's a moment of, 'Why can't I just do what I've always done? A few weeks ago, I would have killed you in an instant. What is happening?'" Brandt said.
For "Lucifer" Season 2, Brandt mentioned that Maze would likely to venture into a life that "isn't so tied to Lucifer." Brandt told the website that in the comic book, Maze challenges Lucifer and she expects that fans get to see her "demon side" in Season 2 of the show. She added that Maze would be on her own in Season 2 as she explores her side.
