Swansea City is currently at the 15th spot of the league table and are precariously nine points above the bottom three relegation area with three matches left in this term's campaign. They had been winless in four of their last six games and are currently on a two-game losing skid which the team will try to snap against the Reds.

The Swans were demolished by league leaders and this year's potential Premier League champions Leicester City, 0-4, during their most recent game at the King Power Stadium last Sunday, as per BBC Sport.

Winger Riyad Mahrez netted the opening goal at the 10th minute of the contest before Jamie Vardy's temporary replacement, Argentine striker Leonardo Ulloa, scored a brace at the 30th and 60th. Midfielder Marc Albrighton completed the hosts' four-goal haul while handing head coach Francesco Guidolin's boys their second straight loss.

Meanwhile, Liverpool had settled for a 2-2 draw with bottom three squad Newcastle United at the Anfield last Saturday, as reported by SkySports.

The Reds scored the first two goals of the match, courtesy of striker Daniel Sturridge and winger Adam Lallana at the second and 30th minutes respectively, to come up with a two point lead at the halftime break.

However, manager Jürgen Klopp's side allowed the Magpies to come back in the second half with goals from forward Papiss Cissé and midfielder Jack Colback at the 48th and 66th as both teams went scoreless for the last 24 plus minutes.

The draw snapped Liverpool's three-game winning run but it extended the team's unbeaten streak to five games.

The Merseyside giants are currently at the seventh spot of the league table, only one point behind sixth-placed team West Ham United and the final Europa League qualifying berth with four games remaining in their current campaign.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 win for Liverpool.
