The WWE are once again facing some crossroads as the past few months has not been in favor of the company rating-wise. The WWE can only hope that stars Randy Orton and John Cena return to the roster soon to spice things up.

Despite shattering records in revenue ($17.3 million) and gate attendance (101,763) in the recently concluded "Wrestlemania 32," WWE Raw's ratings is currently at its lowest, Forbes reported. The show reportedly got around three million viewers after the PPV and it continues to decline. For the past two weeks, the average viewers dropped to two million.

This had been the case as last year's post-"Wrestlemania" RAW also posted low ratings after Seth Rollins was crowned as the WWE Heavyweight champion. If that implies anything, fans are making it known to the company that they do not like Roman Reigns as the new champion, the website added.

Reigns, however, is set to defend his title for the first time against crowd favorite, AJ Styles on "Payback" happening on May 2. If WWE wants their ratings back, it is safe to say that they should consider putting Styles in the spotlight. But fans should not get their hopes up as Reigns is Vince McMahon's favorite and it is hard to think that they will take the title away from their top dog just like that.

Hence, WWE should look at other alternatives on how they can keep fans on the hook and that is by improving the quality of plots and give fan favorites a huge push, Forbes suggested. Speaking of fan favorites, The New Day are sitting atop the Tag Team division for more than seven months now and some competition would be interesting for fans.

Next up, the WWE should also consider turning Reigns into a heel, much like how he entered the company. He was liked a lot more during his villainous ways with The Shield as he lay waste to every superstar in the roster. Lastly, the WWE is missing a lot of their iconic stars such as John Cena and Randy Orton.

However, that may be the last of WWE's option as both stars are reportedly recovering from their respective injuries. "The Viper" is said to be out for at least three to five months more according to Dave Meltzer in an interview with Cageside Seats.
