The newest update will come with features such as bug fixes, Google Now on Tap, Doze mode and multi-user mode. Major carriers such as Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have rolled out the firmware update to their versions of HTC One M9 and HTC One M8.

It is important to note that once the mobile carrier AT&T begins rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for HTC One M9 and HTC One M8 it will be pushed to owners gradually. It means that it will take some time till it reaches all users.

When the Android M update becomes available for a user's device, they should see a message in the notifications panel. Users should tap on it and follow the instructions to finish the installation.

The tech giant HTC has said that devices such as HTC Desire 816, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 826, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC M8 EYE, HTC One E8, HTC ME, HTC One E9, HTC M9+ and HTC One M8 will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Meanwhile, LG G3 users on T-Mobile and AT&T are now able to access the latest Marshmallow update for the device. However, LG G3 users on Sprint will have to wait a little longer, as the update has not been released for the network yet.

The mobile carrier Sprint has not disclosed any information as to when the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will arrive.

The AT&T Android M update is being rolled out OTA in phased fashion; however, users who prefer not to wait can access the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update manually via their handset's settings menu.

The T-Mobile Android 6.0 M update is available right now using LG's PC Suite software. To access the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, T-Mobile users will need to install the PC Suite software.

Some of the features of LG G3 include 5.5-inch screen, 3000mAh removable battery, Snapdragon 801 processor and 13-megapixel primary camera, Digital Trends reported.
