"Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan and her mother, Dina Lohan, reportedly have sued the Fox News as well as Sean Hannity over guest's claim on "Hannity" that they did cocaine together.

On February 2, Monday, TMZ had obtained letters that Fox News Channel sent to the Lohans' lawyer last year, which informs them an apology was made on air and the Fox News Channel would send a copy of the apology to them. There was also a letter sent stating that the segment would be removed from the website of the network.

A representative from Fox News Channel told Newsday that when the letters were sent, the Lohans did not have any demands and quite surprised that they are doing this now. This is why they will defend the case to the fullest.

In the lawsuit acquired by TMZ, there was a discussion regarding the recently deceased celebrities including the late "Hunger Games" actor Philip Seymour Hoffman about drug use. The panel was discussing the next one that might die.

Michelle Fields said that the mother of Lindsay Lohan is doing cocaine with her, insinuating that the actress would be the next one to go. Lindsay considers it as a malicious innuendo.

The actress previously admitted to doing coke and also claimed that her mom was on coke in the call she made to her father back in 2012.

The discussion happened in February 2014, which was just days after the death of Hoffman.

The actress and her mom claim it was an insult on their reputation.
