"Chasing Destiny" Season 1, episode 5 spoilers roundup

The episode titled "Hit the Road, J" will see tension rise amongst the remaining contestants as they prepare for the dismissals. The girls will have to sing for a top vocal coach in "Chasing Destiny" Season 1, episode 5.

Now, they are down to final 10 and it will be interesting to see who will make it in the group.

In the previous episode, the girls are divided into groups and they sing various numbers. The three new girls: Ashly, Kristal and Jennifer are expected to gel with Gabby, Skye, Alyxx and Mayah.

Meanwhile, Ash talked to Singersroom.com about her journey in "Chasing Destiny" and Kelly Rowland and ace creative director and choreographer Frank Gatson.

"I think music is such an amazing aspect of it, but one thing that you get to learn from Kelly and Frank is that it's so much more than just music," Ash said about Rowland and Gatson.

She added that it is the perspective and demeanor that matter.

"That is something Kelly is seen saying in that, "[She] doesn't want reality stars. She wants real singers and artist." So just having that opportunity to be at the feet of them, sowing that kind of wisdom is an honor."

The previous episode showcases the new ones joining the rest of the girls for a harmony session. Kristal joins Gabby and Khylah B. Kristal says that she stepped back as Kylah was aggressive.

Meanwhile, Alyxx and Ashly sing "Locked Out of Heaven" by Bruno Mars. The second group sings their version of "On and On" by Erykah Badu but it fails to impress Gatson.

Group three sings "Someone Like You" by Adele with Jennifer shining during the performance. Group four takes on "Lean on Me" and Khylah B. disappoints.
