It looks like the Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao rematch possibility is getting some steam, as Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is open to the possibility of another "Fight of the Century."

Pacquiao and Mayweather Jr. are currently retired and are engaged in totally different fields. Pac-Man is currently running for senator in the Philippines while "Money" is busy on the promotional side of the sport. After the biggest payday in boxing history, it would no longer be a surprise if both future Hall-of-Famers decide to suit up one more time and slug it out.

The idea of a rematch is music to the ears of Arum, as this will potentially net them another nine-figure payout. The first fight accumulated a total of at least $600 million in revenue, with the undefeated American boxer taking home 40 percent of the purse.

"I would say there is a possibility a rematch happens, yes," promoter Bob Arum said in an interview with ESPN. "How big a possibility that is, I can't really measure."

Fans should not expect this fight to happen anytime soon as Pacquiao will be busy in his campaign, and he is expected to take one of the twelve slots for the senatorial positions in the Philippines. Mayweather, on the other hand, made it clear that he will only be interested in the fight if he is guaranteed to have another nine-digit payday.

"If I came back, of course, it would have to be a nine-figure payday and probably a championship fight and a nine-figure payday," said Mayweather in an interview with the publication.

Mayweather told Boxing Junkie he is happy promoting the sport outside the ring as well as helping upcoming boxers under his promotion improve in their chosen career. The 39 year-old boxer currently holds a record of 49-0 and his last fight was against Andre Berto on Sept. 18, 2015. He was urged by many to close his career with at least 50 wins and it would be interesting to see if he will do just that.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, fought Timothy Bradley for the third time in his career on April 9 as he won the third and deciding match against the American boxer. The Filipino boxer closed his career with a professional record of 58 wins, six defeats and two draws.

Here is Mayweather's interview where he discussed his retirement and the state of the sport after his departure.
