Seemingly proud of its reputation as a flagship killer device, the OnePlus 3 is said to be stuffed with necessary specs, features and pricing to easily overwhelm the competition like the Nexus 2016, Galaxy S7 and HTC 10. Freshly-leaked details of the device suggest it is the Android smartphone to watch for with the release date to take place real soon.

GizmoChina reported this week that not only the OnePlus 3 is jammed up with the most impressive feature upgrades that smartphone could unbox but it also carries a tempting price mark, starting at no more than $310. If true, the sticker will prove more compelling than any of the Nexus 5X and 6P. It's likely too that the upcoming Nexus 2016 smartphones from HTC will be unable to match the OnePlus 3 solid pricing.

The basic OnePlus 3 pricing is more compelling than the last version, which was introduced at around $330. But GizmoChina noted that the $310 sticker price is only for the cheaper model as a high-specced version of the phone is also expected for unpacking soon.

Both OnePlus 3 flavors will boast of the flagship favorite chip from Qualcomm - the Snapdragon 820. But the cheaper edition will only be supported by 4GB of RAM with the internal memory set only at 32GB. The more high-end version will come packed with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage capacity.

"The second version would naturally be priced higher than the standard version, but at present, we have no information about the same," GizmoChina said on its report.

It should be noted though that any of the two OnePlus 3 versions will have the specs and features at par with the offerings from the Samsung Galaxy S7 and HTC 10. But with the OnePlus pricing more buyer-friendly, it is likely that newer device will enjoy some form of advantage considering that even with its cheaper price tag the OnePlus 3 is a premium phone inside and out as the pricy components are encased in metal and glass shell.

Speculations are rife that the Marshmallow-powered OnePlus 3 will be introduced as early as May 18 with the commercial debut set in the following month, which could convince many Android fans to skip the Google Nexus 2016 release date in favor of the OnePlus 3.
