Maddie Ziegler made her final performance in the recent "Dance Moms" Season 6 finale. However, there is a possibility that the young dancer will one day return to work with Abby Lee Miller in another project.

Maddie will be moving on to become a judge in Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation," which is scheduled to premiere this month, according to Yahoo. Besides Maddie, her sister Mackenzie Ziegler and mother, Melissa Ziegler-Gisoni as well said their goodbyes to the show that they have been part for six seasons.

The three family members shared a moment onstage after their performance. Melissa appreciated Coach Miller as her daughters sent their well wishes to fellow dancers and friends.

After the release of the installment, Miller said that she could not be happier with the achievements of the 13-year-old dancer. According to Miller, Maddie left to do a great job and she is very excited about it.

Furthermore, the "Dance Moms" coach explained that Maddie's schedule in promoting her feature film, "The Book of Henry" and shooting for film, "Sisters" with Sia contradicts with "Dance Moms" series production calendar. As a result, Maddie had no option but to choose, and according to Coach Miller, while it was not an easy decision to make, the young dancer made the right decision. The choice was great and what she needed to do.

The "Dance Moms" coach later on teased that it is likely that she and Maddie will get to work together someday.

In a statement as quoted by the same publication, Miller said, "Hopefully, wink wink. She's still at my studio. That's never going to change. But hopefully were going to be working on another project that you might just see on your television screen [or] even your computer screen in the future. Keep your fingers crossed."

Maddie's avid fans are hoping that their favorite dancer will return in future installment of "Dance Moms," Bustle reported. However, it remains to be seen whether their hopes come to fruition.

Meanwhile, Maddie and Mackenzie will come back to "Dance Moms" for two special episodes this month: "Hello and Goodbye" set to air on May 10 on Lifetime at 9 p.m. EDT. Watch the sneak peek below for Maddie and Mackenzie farewell speech.
