Newly-crowned 2015-2016 Serie A champions Juventus FC (28-5-4, 88 points) is scheduled to host lowly club UC Sampdoria (10-17-10, 40 points) at their home ground of Juventus Stadium on Saturday, May 14th for their last fixture of the current Italian top flight season.

Juventus have already earned their fifth straight Scudetto a couple of games back when second-running team SSC Napoli dropped a 0-1 game to third-placed squad Roma three matchdays ago. While this game may not be that significant for Le Zebre than for La Samp, the former would still like to end this term with a bang.

La Vecchia Signora fell to a surprising Hellas Verona eleven, 1-2, at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi last Sunday, as reported by Goal.

While the Mastini are already officially relegated to the Serie B next season after finishing at the cellar of this year's competitions, they still put together an impressive show to upset the champions with 38-year-old retiring striker Luca Toni, Sampdoria's team captain, netting the first goal of the match via a penalty kick at the 43rd minute.

Midfielder Federico Viviano then doubled the lead at the 55th before Juve's Alex Sandro was sent off in stoppage time and striker Paulo Dybala scored a consolation goal as well.

The loss snapped Juve's 26 straight unbeaten games, which includes 25 wins, en route to their fifth consecutive title.

Meanwhile, Sampdoria was crushed by middling team Genoa CFC, 0-3, at their own home ground of Stadio Luigi Ferraris also last Sunday, as per Football Italia.

Genoa forward Leonardo Pavoletti opened the scoring at the third minute before Spanish striker Suso scored a double at the 26th and 74th to complete the visitors' three-goal haul.

Head coach Vincenzo Montella's boys were not able to respond with any goals as they suffered their second straight loss and fourth winless performance in their last five matches.

I Blucerchiati is at the 15th spot of the league table and is safe from relegation as they are five points away from the bottom three area before their season finale.

The predicted result is a 2-0 win for Juventus.
