"Dance Moms" season 6 star Abby Lee Miller recently slammed rumors that she has a very harsh and offensive manner of teaching and educating her students.

While speaking with People, the ALDC coach said that this isn't true because she always just wants what's best for her young professional dancers. Unfortunately, some kids end up crying when they are confronted by the intimidating teacher and this makes Miller look bad on and off screen.

"I just know in my heart of hearts that I am a good person. I try to help people," Miller said.

The coach continued by saying that for several years, she also became responsible for giving her students tons of opportunities. When their parents are busy at work or couldn't afford flying them to a different state or country, she would be the one to do so.

"For years and years I paid for kids' trips out of town and I took kids to New York City: I paid for the gas, I drove them to the auditions to get a Broadway show. If it was up to their mom and dad, they wouldn't even have gone to the audition because Mom and Dad wouldn't have taken off work and given up their pay to take their own kid, but I did. I did it," she said.

Meanwhile, Miller also talked about her recent indictment for bankruptcy fraud. Back in November, Miller pled not guilty in court.

According to her, everything was going well in her life until her father passed away. From there, everything just spiraled out of control.

"I did everything that I thought was right, what my attorneys were telling me what to do, and there were some mistakes along the way, and we corrected them and I thought that they have all been approved and accepted, and that was it," she said.

The controversial coach was indicted for allegedly not declaring more than $750,000 in assets after she made false claims about her income. Miller's case is still on going after she filed for an extension in December of last year.

"Dance Moms" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
