The war between the Fiore Guilds and the Alvarez Empire is about to reach its peak as the few remaining members of the Spriggan 12 are now engaging the strongest that Fiore has to offer. Heading to "Fairy Tail" chapter 486, a fourth guest is expected to make a difference in this dragging war.
In the previous chapter, Lucy, Natsu and Brandish embarked on a quest to find August and negotiate with the elder Spriggan to avoid further bloodshed. Mest followed them around as he does not trust Brandish, who is a member of the Spriggan 12. However, Brandish's actions make it hard to believe that they will betray them now.
Meanwhile, Mavis and Cana are still trying to break the former's body free from the crystal surrounding it. Cana is hesitating to unleash her full power as it may damage the body of Fairy Tail's guild master, resulting to her death. Eventually, Gildarts' daughter found the strength to finally give it her all and free Mavis for good.
Scene shifts to Gajeel's side as the team gets ready to intercept Irene and the two other Spriggan. Saber Tooth's Sting was too afraid to get back up on his feet after the horror they suffered in the hands of Bradman. As a result, he was slapped by his guild mate Yukino and it served as his wake-up call that the fight is not yet over.
All of a sudden, the fallen mages of Saber Tooth got back on their feet and eventually regained their momentum. Then, Bradman finally arrived but he was immediately stopped on his tracks by an infuriated Gajeel.
Fans over Manga Helper believe something big is up in the next chapter as it is entitled "The Fourh Guest." They made a poll on who could the fourth guest is and many believe it will be Gildarts of Fairy Tail. The second popular opinion is a member of Crime Sorciere.
This fourth guest is probably referring to someone who will interfere in the prediction of the three great forces clashing in this war, as suggested by fans at Reddit. The three mages said to be clashing in the final battle are Natsu, Acnologia and Zeref, with the fourth person being Mavis, who can be considered to be on par with these mages in terms of magic power.
