"Scream Queens" Season 2 will up the ante this year, bringing the slasher comedy from a college campus to a mysterious hospital.

"I think it'll be dark. I think it's going to be very dark," Jamie Lee Curtis told E! News, when asked what she thinks about "Scream Queens" Season 2. "It's in a hospital, [there's] a lot of darkness in hospitals-dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants."

Lea Michele, who played weird Hester and one of the Red Devil killers in "Scream Queens" Season 1, also shared that her character will go from evil to worse in the second season.

"I don't know how I can get any darker than I did in season one but hey, whatever Ryan Murphy wants me to do I am totally down with," Michele said.

According to Variety, "Scream Queens" Season 2 will be set in a hospital as inspired by classic horror flick "Halloween," in which Curtis also starred in. The show's co-creator, Brad Falchuk, revealed that the hospital will be supervised by Curtis' Dean Cathy Munsch, who has "moved on to great success" after bringing down the college Greek system in the first season of the series.

"She will take on the cases no one else will take and the conditions everyone says are incurable," Falchuk said.

One of these "cases" includes The Channels, who have been confined to the mental institution. Hester, on the other hand, will be involved with one of the murders that will take place inside the hospital.

Glen Powell and his squadron of posh and chiseled Dickie Dollar Scholars provided a lot of eye candy in "Scream Queens" Season 1. He will still be the main hottie in Season 2 and will be joined by three new characters described as "stud-ly doctors."

Most of the "Scream Queens" cast members have announced their return to the series, including Emma Roberts, Curtis, Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and fan favorite Niecy Nash.

However, Skyler Samuels and Oliver Hudson have not confirmed if they will return in "Scream Queens" Season 2 as the show's father-daughter tandem.

As of the moment, the premiere date for "Scream Queens" Season 2 has not yet been announced.
