According to the official blog of Square Enix, they announced that they will be releasing 10,000 more copies of the collector's edition worldwide. The total number of UCE copies that will be released has now a total of 40,000 units. They explained that they could only produce 10,000 more due to the complexity of creating the individual Noctic Play Arts Kai figures in each UCE.

The game company also apologized ahead if this next batch will not arrive on time for the launch day of the game, which is on Sept. 30. They assured the fans that their staff members are doing their best to get their copies in time of the release date. They also assured the fans that they will be giving updates to those who are eager to know what has happened to their copies as early as possible.

For the fans in North and South America, and France, the game company will be distributing the copies based on the fan's order within their waiting list. For those living in Europe excluding France, they will get their new batch of copies on May 23 on their EU store, and customers can only purchase one copy each. For the fans in Australia and New Zealand, there will be more copies made soon, and the details will follow at a later date.

According to Ubergizmo, the UCE will have an artbook with 192 pages, a Blu-ray copy of "Kingsglaive," a Play Arts Kai figure of Noctis, in-game bonus items for players to use. It is suggested that fans should keep their copies safe, because it might be worth a lot in the future.
