Park Hae Jin, who starred in tvN's "Cheese in the Trap" drama adaptation, surely knows how to treat his fans right. Earlier today, May 25, the actor's agency, WM Entertainment, announced that the 33-year-old star's visit to Taiwan amid the Dragon Boat Festival will include a local food treat to his Taiwanese fans.
A few weeks or days before the fan meeting event will take place, local fans ought to recommend some of Taiwan's culinary delights to Park. The actor will then pick dishes from the list suggested online by fans and choose various fans who will be given a chance to enjoy the food with him, Kpop Herald reported.
According to the publication, the said event was introduced by Park himself with an end goal to be more familiar with Taiwanese cuisine through the help of his local fans. Much to the delight of the fans, WM Entertainment will be giving free entrance for the highly anticipated fan meeting event, in line with Park's 10th anniversary in the industry.
As recalled, Park debuted in the entertainment industry in mid-2006. He initially rose to fame after starring in the 2008 action-packed drama, "East of Eden," where he plays Shin Myung Hoon, a heartless man who takes someone else's sweetheart. Other notable TV dramas include SBS's "My Love from the Star", "Doctor Stranger," and OCN's police-procedural TV series called "Bad Guys."
It was learned that the star will hold a fan meeting on May 27, Saturday, in Beijing, China. He will be in the said city from May 27-29 to also film Anhui TV's "Very Quiet Distance. Park will be kicking-off the scheduled Taiwan's broader fan meeting on June 9 at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), before wrapping up the said fan meeting event in Thailand on July 31.
Park, meanwhile, is set to make his big-screen comeback appearance in summer 2017 with the movie adaptation of Soon Ggi's "Cheese in the Trap." He is set to return as the enigmatic college student, Yoo Jung, who seems kind on the outside, yet covertly harbors a dark personality.
"After numerous debates regarding the creation of webtoon 'Cheese in the Trap' as a movie, we've come to a decision to produce 'Cheese in the Trap' as a Korean-Chinese' film," HNS HQ said in a press release statement obtained by All K-pop. "[The] Mountain Movement Story has entered into a contract with Soon Ki, the creator of the original webtoon."
