The largest food chain has been using different signs to draw in the consuming public into their restaurants. Critics are scornful to say that the golden arches are using the emotional slogans to show emotions and concern by using timely signs like "Boston Strong," "We Remember 911," "Keep jobs in Toledo" and more, it is creating a parody since the food chain highlights its role in helping the society but is strongly being criticized due to marketing unhealthy foods to kids, according to Huffington Post

Using the emotional slogans is the restaurant giant's primary way to be able to draw more patrons in their restaurant again. Competitors like Shake Shack, Five Guys, and Chipotle are also offering quick order foods and is much cheaper than McDonald's. The big reason why some would still vie for and buy a Big Mac is familiarity and nostalgia.

It was reported that the global store sales went down by 4.8 percent compared to the expected dip of only 1.2 percent.  McDonalds gets 68 million of people served on a daily basis in 130 countries, 38,000 outlets, and 2 million employees worldwide.

Despite the obvious competition with the likes of Smashburger and In-and-Out Burger, McDonald's is getting ready to fire back and back up again. The food chain's financial records shows a monotonous decline on store sales have been running for 12 years now and the fifth straight quarter of declining sales revenues and a big dip in profits, Fortune reported.

The golden arches' management needs to heed the society's call for a drastic change to be able for them to draw in more customers. The main focus that the consuming public awaits to change is food quality, food safety, pricing policy, and customization of orders where this is not possible in the current McDonald's ordering scenario.
