Several reports have dropped hints that Future Trunks will be appearing in the succeeding episode of “Dragon Ball Super.” It can be recalled that right after the tournament against Universe 6, Trunks returned to the future. New developments reveal that as he come back to present time, he will be facing a strong foe named Black Goku.
Gotiijaaf revealed in his Facebook post that Future Trunks will be coming to “Dragon Ball Super” series on June 12. Episode 47 titled “New Chapter! An Obscure Enemy Appears” has a plot summary which states, “From June 06 (Sunday) starts a new chapter original designed by Akira Toriyama: Arc Trunks Future. After the tournament against the Universe 6, Trunks returns from the future to find Goku and the others.” The summary added that although Trunks has already defeated Cell, he comes to present time for another purpose which is yet to be revealed as the series progresses.
Toie already announced in their official website the appearance of the Future Trunks accompanied by an image and description. In addition to this, “Dragon Ball Super” writer Akira Toriyama explained that Future Trunks will be appearing again after a long time after returning to the future. He said that the story was put up based on a suggestion from the editorial office, Kanzenshuu reported.
The same report also included that Toriyama explained how the episodes he writes are being break up, changed and expanded by the script writers to come up with a better version. He even hinted that Trunks will be facing a new enemy stronger than him, whose name is Black Goku. The writer already dropped hints that their battle will surpass time and space that would even draw Destruction God, Kaioshin and the Omni-King.
Black Goku is said to be more evil than any other villains who appeared in the series, and have come from the future timeline. Son Goku will be dead by this time and Android 17 and 18 will be wrecking planet Earth as soon as they regained their lives.
Although reports already revealed that these are set to happen on June 12, other hints will be dropped as early as episode 46 which airs on June 5.
