"Girl Meets World" season 3 could see another bump in Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) relationship.

According to Yahoo News, "Boy Meets World" alum Lauren (Linda Cardellini) could return to the Disney Channel sitcom to cause tension between Cory and Topanga.

Back in 1998, Cory and Topanga were already in a relationship in "Boy Meets World," but the couple decided to go their separate ways temporarily after the latter found out about Cory's affair with Lauren.

Meanwhile, Savage recently shared a photo of the Mount Sun Lodge that will be featured in "Girl Meets World" season 3.

The photo reminded thousands of fans of what happened to Cory, Topanga and Lauren when they went to the same lodge several years ago.

During that time, Cory and Topanga were supposed to go skiing for the weekend. Unfortunately, the former sprained his ankle and wasn't able to go with his then-girlfriend outdoors.

Cory stayed inside the lodge where he met an employee named Lauren. The two characters talked and became close to each other before ultimately kissing each other on the lips.

Now, there are some rumors that Lauren could return to "Girl Meets World" and she could remind Cory and Topanga of what happened to their relationship several years back.

Unfortunately, as of late, there is still no confirmation yet whether or not Lauren will still be working at the Mount Sun Lodge.

Meanwhile, Savage also shared a photo of his script for an upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3. As it has already been confirmed before, the cast and crew of the sitcom have already completed filming that first half of the show.

The photo that Savage shared also confirmed that he will be directing at least one episode from "Girl Meets World" season 3.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 will premiere on Disney Channel on June 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
