Fandango and Tyler Breeze have been only teaming for less than a month but some top WWE officials are already impressed with them. According to the latest rumors, Breezango could receive a push if they keep up their good work as changes in the WWE tag team division are imminent.
The WWE failed to capitalize on Fandango's popularity in 2013 when he defeated Chris Jericho in his debut match at WrestleMania 29. His theme song was also a hit as it became an overnight sensation only for the character to get buried in the midcard.
On the other hand, Breeze was a standout in NXT wherein he excelled in the ring and his character was one of the most over in the company. However, his main roster stint has not been successful since he lost a lot of matches before being inserted into the storyline along with Fandango, R-Truth and Goldust.
Breezango was formed when both of them turned on R-Truth and Goldust on the May 12 episode of SmackDown. The Golden Truth team was the focus of the entire program but Fandango and Breeze are looking like a perfect fit for each other, Sportskeeda reported.
Both superstars have similar personalities as narcissistic, arrogant and easy to hate. It also helps that Vince McMahon is a fan of them. According to Daily Wrestling News, there are plans to make another tag team titles which could benefit many lower midcard wrestlers like Fandango and Breeze.
They can be compared to the team of The Miz & John Morrison who formed a partnership during the ECW days in 2007. They eventually won the tag team titles twice and were named 2008 Slammy Tag Team of the Year.
The WWE currently have a lot of teams on the main roster including current champions The New Day, Breezango, The Golden Truth, The Usos, The Club, The Dudley Boyz, Enzo Amore & Big Cass, The Lucha Dragons, The Shining Stars, The Social Outcasts, The Vaudevillains and The Wyatt Family.
There are also NXT tag teams like American Alpha, Blake and Murphy, The Hype Bros, Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa, The Revival and the newly-signed TM-61 waiting to get called up and could be part of the upcoming superstar draft on July 11.
