"The Elder Scrolls" avid fans have been clamoring for the release of the sixth installment, but they might have to wait a little bit longer. Latest rumors indicate that Bethesda Studios is currently focused on the creation of "Fallout 4."
The second wave of "Fallout 4" DLC just started since Nuka World expansion pack is in the works, according to Gamingbolt. As a result, rumors have emerged that the extensive and exhaustive post launch support scheduled for "Fallout 4" could delay the development of "The Elder Scrolls 6." While the much-awaited game features a great plot and enticing gaming experience, the delay might influence the general trend of the game.
Bethesda has not yet to unveil the name for the upcoming game. However, there are speculations that the sixth installment might retain the "Skyrim" brand; with "The Elder Scrolls 6" being referred to as "Skyrim 2."
The last sequel in the franchise, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" was released in 2011. Based on the long timeframe, it is only rational that players would clamor for a new installment from Bethesda.
Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Bethesda, the company that is developing the game, will launch the next installment in "The Elders Scrolls" franchise during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E30) 2016 to be held on June 14 to 16. There are increasing rumors as thrilled fans have spotted the most recent job search of Bethesda, indicating that the company is soliciting for a character artist who has the knowhow on role-playing games like "The Elders Scrolls," according to ZeniMax Media. The job advertisement is giving optimism to fans who believe this is an indication that the production is ongoing and they should anticipate the launch of 'The Elders Scrolls 6" in 2017.
However, it is important to note that Bethesda release of its "The Elder Scrolls" installments has been at intervals of four years. Therefore, fans can only expect to lay hands on the sixth installment in "The Elder Scrolls" franchise in 2019, especially since the developer company released "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited in June 2015.
