The Motorola Moto G4 Plus was launched in May 2016 and Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) was released in April this year.

Let's take a look at the specs of the two devices.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) weighs 159 grams and measures 145.8mm×72.3mm×8.1mm. The Moto G4 Plus, on the other hand, weighs 155 grams and measures 153mm×76.6mm×9.8mm, Forbes reported.

The Motorola device sports 4GB, 3GB or 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 405 graphics card, a quad-core Cortex A53 processor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) sports 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 306 graphics card, a quad-core Cortex A53 chipset and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor.

The Moto G4 Plus has a 5MP secondary camera and a 16MP primary camera that features auto HDR, laser autofocus, panorama and dual-LED flash. The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5MP secondary camera and a 13MP primary camera that features geo-tagging, LED flash and touch focus.

The Moto G4 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen that supports a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Galaxy J5 (2016), on the other hand, features a  5.2-inch super AMOLED screen that supports a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

The Moto G4 Plus is available in three internal storage variants of 64GB, 32GB and 16GB. The Galaxy J5 (2016), on the other hand, has a 16GB internal storage.

The Motorola device has a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh, while the Samsung device has a removable battery of 3100 mAh.

Meanwhile, new reports suggest that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note phablet will be released on August 2, 2016.

According to reports, the electronics company Samsung will reveal the smartphone on August 2. Also, the forthcoming phablet will be 7.8mm thick, 74.5m in width and 153mm in height. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5, on the other hand, measures 7.6mm thick, 76.1mm in width and 153.2mm in height.

The upcoming Galaxy Note phablet will be slightly curvier and sleek than the Galaxy Note 5. The camera bump on the device will be thinner at 0.8mm compared to 1.7mm on the Note 5.

Some of the other rumored features of the Samsung phablet include 5.8-inch screen, Exynos 8890 processor or Snapdragon 823 processor and USB Type-C port, BGR reported.
