There have been rumors that the Apple Watch 2 will be revealed alongside the Macbook Pro 2016 in June. Part of the rumor mill includes the next iteration will be released in limited stocks for second quarter of the year, with more stocks becoming available in third quarter.

Since the next iteration of Apple Watch was not launched during the company's big event last March, consumers are expecting it would be announced in the upcoming Worldwide Developer's Conference this June. Although part of Apple's event last March was the launching of Apple Watch's new line of straps, the announced for its much-awaited next iteration was not included.

New things that may come along with this second generation is the introduction of new designs. If the first generation had three variations which included the Sports, Steel and Edition variants, the new watch is rumored to bring additional designs that will sit in between the first three tiers, Mac World reported.

Upon analyzing its prices, the report also added Apple may be looking into producing designs that will range within the cheapest Apple watch priced around £1,000, and the most expensive steel edition worth £8,000. However, based on statements made by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the next iteration may not include other designs, but rather only get incremental internal improvements, which has been the practice of the California-based tech giant for its current line of devices.

Meanwhile, for its rumored specs, Apple Watch 2 is believed to be having 3G and 4G connections. It is also speculated the device will be able to perform FaceTime functions such as answering FaceTime audio calls and relaying FaceTime video calls to an iPhone or iPad device, 9 to 5 Mac reported.

The same report included that the new watch will be more independent from the iPhone by allowing it to perform functions without the use of an iPhone. Currently, the Apple Watch independently works on functions like tracking, mobile payment and music playback. Aside from these, no other functions can be conducted by the device without an aid of an iPhone.

It may be an early gift for Apple fans if the watch would be launched this month, if not, consumers would still have to wait by September this year. Watch a preview of video clip discussing Apple Watch's potential features below.
