Lil Wayne is doing fine and is currently in "stable condition." The rapper suffered two minor seizures on June 13, Monday, after which his plane had to make an emergency landing.
Wayne's rep confirmed to E! News that the rapper had two minor seizures on-board. The "Lollipop" singer was travelling from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to California when he had a seizure attack and the plane had to make an emergency landing in Nebraska.
An authority at the Omaha Airport confirmed to the publication that they received a medical divert call around 2:36 p.m. local time. The caller refused the treatment when the rescue fire department and the ambulance responded. The authorities decided to terminate the response within 30 minutes of the first call and the plane departed.
However, the jet arrived again at 3.56 p.m. local time. The concerned patient was transferred to a local hospital with the help of an ambulance. The passenger (Wayne) walked off the place on his own.
"We can confirm that he did experience two minor seizures yesterday. Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in stable condition and good spirits," Wayne's rep told the publication. "He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers and well wishes."
The "How to Love" rapper was last hospitalized three years ago when he suffered from multiple seizures. At that time, Wayne revealed that he suffers from epilepsy, which puts him at an increased risk of seizures.
He confessed of having suffered from a bunch of seizures in the past and not just one or two. Wayne's heart rate fell to about 30 percent. He suffered from three back-to-back seizures and the last one was really bad. However, he was glad to have people in his life who really know how to handle his condition.
After the incident, the "Mirror" rapper spoke to his fans who have been pretty concerned over his health. Wayne logged on to Twitter to post a thankful note for all his fans that stated, "thanx for all the prayers!! I love y'all."
Wayne missed his appearance at E3 after suffering seizures, according to Page Six. Wayne was supposed to appear at Samsung's booth at the Los Angeles Convention Center to "show off his mobile skateboarding game, Sqvad Up."
