"Fuller House" actor John Stamos has joined the cast for the next season of "Scream Queens," Fox confirmed Thursday, June 16. The 52-year-old veteran actor will join as a series regular when the satirical-horror TV drama returns on Sept. 20.

The much-awaited second season moves on from the college campus and is poised to bring viewers into an all-new location, wherein a slew of terrifyingly-amusing and murder mystery will once again begin. Stamos will play the splendid yet secretive, Dr. Brock Holt, who is the head surgeon of the hospital, where the absolute most intriguing and bizarre medical cases are under observation, People reported.

Stamos will join the likes of Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Abigail Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele Jamie, Niecy Nash, Keke Palmer and Glen Powell - all of whom will be reprising their respective roles in the upcoming season. Further, it will reunite Stamos with executive producer Ryan Murphy, with whom he previously worked on "Glee" and "The New Normal."

Apart from that, actor Glen Powell has also been confirmed to reprise his role as Chad Radwell in the upcoming season. It is said that Powell's character will be directly involved with the three new male characters, whom he described as "studly doctors."

With "Scream Queens" looming release date in our heads, spoilers about the upcoming season are bound to come out. One of which is that The Chanels have been legitimately discharged from that asylum and will be attending medical school, which is now owned by Cathy Munsch (Curtis), with an end goal to successfully become doctors.

The upcoming season is expected to be much darker, wilder, and bloodier than the previous season, as a whole new killing spree is set to ensue within the walls of the hospital. Earlier reports reveal that Hester Ulrich aka Chanel #6 (Lea Michele) will not be the executioner in the upcoming season. However, she will be intimately involved with the slew of murders.

"In this hospital, there's some funny business going as well," said Lea Michele, in a previous interview with Variety. "There's an aspect of this show that involves murder and a killer and in those ways, Hester is going to be intimately involved."
