The 'Game of Thrones' fans have been desperately waiting to witness the long-awaited epic battle take place between Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow. However, it seems like the HBO's famous fantasy epic fans are not the only ones waiting for this to happen.
Iwan Rheon, the actor who plays the role of Ramsay Bolton on the show, recently told Entertainment Weekly that he had always wanted this epic face-off to take place between his character and Jon Snow.
"Anyone who has asked me, 'Who would you like Ramsay to meet?' My answer has always been, 'Jon Snow,'" Rheon told the publication. "He's the antithesis of Ramsay. They're almost a yin and a yang.
Rheon further explained how both the characters belong to a similar place, yet they are so different in their characteristics. Both the characters have arisen separately as bastards, despite being each other's enemy. Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow are two characters who could not have been any more different, yet so similar to each other.
Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton are the sons of fathers that are lords of great houses. On the other hand, their mothers are allegedly lowborn. Both the characters are able to improve their status with the help of their wartime actions. While Ramsay Bolton is primarily driven by his selfishness and lust for power, Jon Snow has that built-in instinctual drive to protect others.
Now in the "Battle of the Bastards," Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow are standing against each other, each trying their best to win back the ownership of Winterfell and rule the North.
While there will be only one person who will be able to win back Winterfell and get a chance to rule the lives of the people in North, there are a few characters who might end up losing their lives during the battle. Speculations are high that Jon Snow might win the battle at the end of the episode, according to MTV. However, it could be anything that might have to leave the show - including Ramsay Bolton, Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Wun Wun or Tormund Giantsbane.
