"Game of Thrones" star Maisie Williams is facing backlash after being photographed wearing a t-shirt that many think is a fake. The shirt in question bears the fashion brand Supreme's iconic box logo.

The Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the hit HBO TV series, has drawn the attention of angry Supreme fan boys after Lexi Oliveri, owner of Williamsburg boutique Antoinette, posted on Instagram a picture of herself with Williams. On Wednesday, the actress visited the boutique where she agreed to have a selfie with the store owner.

From then on, worshipers of skateboard-inspired street wear would not cease to attack the "Game of Thrones" actress for wearing the shirt they claim was fake, according to Page Six. The shirt that the 19-year-old actress was wearing, whether it was authentic or counterfeit, was similar to the ones worn by the celebrities like Kate Moss, Lady Gaga and Morrissey in their campaigns for Supreme.

One unnamed Supreme expert reportedly has told the online publication that the logo was too big to be considered real.

A debate over the authenticity of Massie's shirt was even taken to Reddit by the brand aficionados. On the online forum one user wrote, "Here's a secret about important people, they don't spend their time on the internet looking at supreme. They either google it and buy whatever comes up or have someone buy it for them/stylist."

Meanwhile, Oliveri has taken to her Facebook page to defend the Williams. The boutique owner called out those who criticized the "Game of Thrones" star for being disrespectful, hateful and negative to the actress who is as amazing as the role she plays on TV. In addition, she noted that most of the vile comments came from men.

The Antoinette boutique owner also wondered if Williams would ever get the same treatment if she were a man.

Oliveri wrote, "At this point all I can do is delete any hateful comments & let it blow over but I do wish there was something more I could do..."

So far, Maisie Williams has not reacted to the criticism over the shirt she was wearing five days ago. On the other hand, her true fans can catch her in the Season 6 finale of "Game of Thrones" that is happening on HBO next Sunday.
