Huawei's MateBook tablet, which was unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February, is soon coming to the US and Canada on July 11. Pre-orders for the two-in-one convertible Windows 10 device has already started at the Microsoft's online stores.

A stunning combination of hardware and software, the tablet boasts a unibody design that measures 6.9 millimeters in thickness and weighs 1.41 pounds. The display size is 12.9-inches with 2160 x 1440 resolutions. Other features include 4GB of RAM, 128GB of native storage space and a sixth-generation Intel's Core M Skylake processor.

Running on Windows 10, the device has a special feature with regards to display that allows a wide viewing angle of 160-degrees. For additional security, there is a fingerprint scanner designed on-board, which has ultra-fast power to help unlock the screen via Windows Hello, according to The Verge.

In addition to supplying the Huawei Matebook, the Redmond-based company will sell three major accessories with the tablet. These include a Portfolio Keyboard that has a backlit to help users work in the dark, a MateDock that enables more power to the tablet with a VGA port, Ethernet, an HDMI and a MatePen that comes with an in-built laser pointer.

The Matebook's lithium-ion battery can get quickly charged through a USB Type-C to enable nine hours of power at a stretch. While the Huawei's productivity tablet has a starting price at US$699, the three accessories, Portfolio Keyboard, MatePen and MateDock are priced at US$129, US$59 and US$89, respectively.

It should be noted that the Huawei MateBook comes in different configurations, according to which the price varies. The one which has configurations of 4GB of RAM, Intel Core m3, and 128GB of internal storage comes at a price tag of $699 in the US and $909 CAD in Canada. Another variant which is powered by 4GB of RAM, Intel Core 5 with 128GB storage has a price of $849 in the US and $1,099 CAD in Canada.

The MateBook variant, which features 8GB of RAM, Intel Core m5 and 256GB of internal storage is tagged at $999 in the US and $1,299 CAD in Canada. The MateBook with configurations of 8GB of RAM, Intel Core 5 and 512GB of in-built space has a price of $1,199 in the US and $1,599 CAD in Canada, as noted by Windows Central.
