Aside from Annie Lennox and Hozier's applauded performance of the song "Take Me To Church" in Sunday's Grammys, David LaChapelle also has provided audiences a new perspective of the song through the music video (below) that stars Sergei Polunin, the "Russian ballet bad boy."

Set in an old, abandoned church with the sun's rays gleaming through its windows, the video features the physical prowess of the "bad boy." Polunin, who was the principal British Royal Ballet (BRB) dancer until 2012, turns, leaps, jumps and writhes across the once-holy floor in his improvised and inspired movements.

The Stanislavsky Music Theatre's current main dancer became a model after leaving BRB, appearing in both Numero and Marc Jacobs campaigns.

This dancer, who was born in Ukraine, is described by the New York Times as "a fabulous dancer, with a steely technique and beautiful line" in its portrayal of Knave in 2011's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."

"Now, the dancer has set his gaze on Hollywood and hopes to become a bona fide actor under the mentorship of another repenting bad boy, Mickey Rourke," states the Out.

Hozier, the "Take Me To Church" singer and songwriter, drafted the song after a hurtful breakup to convey a brief litany of Ireland church's crimes - preaching against contraception, discrimination due to sexual orientation, and denying communion to the divorced, the San Francisco Examiner said.

Hozier has had a long, yet rewarding road. Last year, the singer songwriter was still in his parent's attic, writing original gospel-inspired songs. After his "Saturday Night Live" performance, his popularity grew in much the same way as Bono, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Adele.
